Forthcoming from Our Silent Voice are poems on survivorship.

Elisabeth Commanday Swim's poem Red was published by Thimble Magazine in 2019.

Hungry was published by Defunkt Magazine under the pen name Eliza Swan. She enjoyed her poetry feature debut with Coast2Soul in Galveston, Texas.

Her original song Magnitudes of Ten was presented in its premiere by the National Museum of Math in March 2021.

Elisabeth Commanday Swim, formerly known as Eliza Swan, writes in order to figure out how to live an easier life.

Founder of Sounds Like Me Music and The Secret Choir, Elisabeth celebrates sound as a bridge of understanding among people. She writes vivid sensory language that draws in readers of many backgrounds, even those who say they "just don't get" poetry.

Elisabeth's poetry has been published in Thin Air Magazine, in two online galleries from Intercultural Press Rebels, as well as by Thimble, The Local Train and Defunkt Magazines, The Gentle Hour and High Shelf Press. She celebrated her feature performance poetry debut at Coast2Soul Poetry in December 2019.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Elisbeth has studied writing with San Francisco Poet Laureate Tongo Eisen-Martin and with Niki Herd. Her other teachers include Cait Weiss-Orcutt and Lupe Mendez.
